The facility practices quality control right from the initial stage of sourcing raw materials to the stage of final finished garment. The quality management system which includes the following steps below has been established by and organized with experienced and independent Quality Assurance team who independently practice full authority in controlling product quality throughout the production processes.
Fabric and Accessory Inspection
All fabrics received are inspected and verified with identification cards following “First In First Out” principle. The fabric inspection system includes four point inspection, shade segregation and in-house LAB testing for GSM, color, shrinkage, abrasion resistance, etc. All accessories received are inspected and organized in a separate and functional storage area with identification cards attachment and check in check out records.
Fabric Relaxing
Before cutting, all qualified and approved fabrics are relaxed 24 hours for non-elastic fabrics and 48 hours for elastics as a minimum requirement.
Cut Piece Inspection
At least 20% of cut pieces of fabric are inspected and bundled with verification and traceability attachments at Cut Piece Inspection Section which is one of the essential quality control points before sewing.
In-Line and End-Line Inspection
Quality assurance inspectors carry out strict quality inspection with clear specifications of the requirements at all stages including in-line and end-line inspection to fulfill the purposes of quality inspection which are to prevent defect at the source, maximize production and achieve the quality objectives. Roving or random quality inspection is strictly conducted in-line and all sewn pieces are measured at end-line tables.
Second Inspection and Measurement
Sewn garments are, as per requirements, pressed at the Ironing Section and are then inspected at Second Inspection Section before qualified garments are packed.
Metal Detection
All finished garments, after the processes of folding, tagging and packing into poly bags, are passed through conveyor belt type needle detectors operated by trained operators and calibrated as per requirements.
Final Inspection
AQL 1.5% inspection is conducted with accurate samples as final inspection which is conducted after or on completion of 80% – 100% of packing process.
